🚀 Getting Started

Welcome to mdto! This tool lets you transform your Markdown files into beautifully rendered web pages quickly and easily. Follow the steps below to get started.

🛠️ Requirements

To use mdto, you need a computer with:

• A modern web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
• An internet connection

📥 Download & Install

1. Visit the Releases Page: Click the link below to access our releases page and find the latest version of mdto.

2. Select the Version: On the releases page, pick the latest version. You will see a list of available files.

3. Download the File: Click on the file that matches your operating system to download it. For example:
   • For Windows, look for a .exe file.
   • For macOS, look for a .dmg file.
   • For Linux, look for a .AppImage file.

4. Open the File: Once the download finishes, locate the file on your computer and double-click it to open.

5. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Simply follow any prompts to complete the installation process.

📂 Uploading Your Files

After you install mdto, you can start converting your Markdown files.

1. Open mdto: Launch the application after installation.

2. Upload Your Markdown File: You can easily upload your files by:

   • Dragging and dropping .md, .markdown, or .txt files directly into the app.
   • Alternatively, click on the upload button to browse and select your files.

🎨 Choosing a Theme

Once you’ve uploaded your Markdown file, you can customize the look of your web page.

1. Explore Themes: Click on the “Themes” option in the app to browse various visual styles.

2. Select Your Favorite Theme: Click on the theme you like. Your changes will appear instantly.

⏰ Setting Expiration Dates

You can also set expiration dates for your rendered pages.

1. Find the Expiration Settings: Within the app, navigate to the expiration option.

2. Choose a Duration: Select from 1, 7, 14, or 30 days. This feature helps manage your web pages efficiently.

👁️ Previewing Your Markdown

Before you publish, you can preview how your page will look.

1. Live Preview: Look for the “Preview” section in the app.
2. View Changes Instantly: As you edit your Markdown file, the preview will update so you can see your changes in real-time.

To keep your web pages safe from spam, mdto includes bot protection.

1. Cloudflare Turnstile: This feature helps ensure that your pages are protected from automated spam bots.
